Principal's Message

Dear Fork Lane Families,

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year!

As I begin my second year as principal of Fork Lane Elementary School, I am filled with excitement and optimism for the year ahead. Over the past year, I have had the privilege of getting to know our students, families, staff, and greater school community. What has become abundantly clear is that Fork Lane is an extremely special place—one built on strong relationships, a commitment to student success, and a shared belief that every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

One of the greatest joys of my first year was witnessing the accomplishments of our students both inside and outside the classroom. Whether through academic achievement, artistic expression, acts of kindness, or personal growth, our students continually demonstrated the qualities that make our school community so remarkable. Their enthusiasm, resilience, and curiosity inspired us each day.

As we begin this new school year, we remain committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and connected. Our dedicated faculty and staff work tirelessly to provide meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, solve problems creatively, collaborate with others, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Equally important is our continued focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Academic and Linguistic Demands (ALD), which help ensure that all students are supported both academically and emotionally while developing the skills necessary to succeed in school and beyond.

A cornerstone of this success is the partnership we share with you – our families. Education is most impactful when schools and families work together toward a common goal. I am grateful for the support, trust, and involvement of our Fork Lane families and look forward to continuing to strengthen those connections throughout the year.

As we embark on another school year together, I look forward to celebrating successes, overcoming challenges, and creating lasting memories as a school community. Thank you for your continued partnership and for entrusting us with the education of your children.
